Abstract

A Carl Zeiss ICM-405 microscope with darkfield optical magnification with high resolution video and video recording will be purchased for installation in the Laboratory of Renewable Resources Engineering, Purdue University. This microscope video system will allow direct observation of floc formation processes; experiments will be done on micelle coagulation in biological systems.
