The University of South Alabama plans to expand their laboratory infrastructure for cybersecurity to facilitate research, education and training in hardware design, prototyping, reverse engineering, forensic de-obfuscation, side-channel characterization, and program analysis.

This CRI award in cybersecurity is important to the workforce development for the region and extends programs at the new Center for Forensics Information Technology Security (CFITS) at the University of South Alabama.
