ABSTRACT "Connections to the Internet" University of Arkansas PI: Robert Zimmerman NCR-9871247 This award is made under the high performance connections portion of NCRI's "Connections to the Internet" announcement, NSF 96-64. It provides partial support for two years for a DS-3 connection to the vBNS. Applications include projects in cybermedia development, Internet intelligent agent modeling, genetic instabilities, geometry deteminations of proteins, molecular dynamics simulations, time-resolved structural studies of reacting molecules, X-ray diffraction studies of proteins, electron-transfer proteins, molecular genetics, computationally-based biophysical-earth sciences, archeology and quantum chemistry. Collaborating institutions include University of Melbourne, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, University of Antwerpen, Savannah River Ecology Laboratory, Kyoto University medical School, Kagawa Medical School, Cornell, National Renewable Energy Lab, California at San Diego, Illinois, Michigan State, North Carolina, Oklahoma State, Dartmouth and Brigham Young.
