The University of Lowell will continue a four-week, multidisciplinary, commuter Young Scholars project for 20 students with disabilities who are entering grades 8,9. The summer program will provide hands-on activities in science, mathematics, computers and career skills. Follow-up activities will include a computer conferencing network for students and teachers, a class reunion, and a teacher training workshop in science activities for students with disabilities.
