The SSC is an internal advisory committee, which will consist of the JHU NIMH CENTER director and co-directors, the Core directors and eight members representing the disciplines of education, therapeutics, epidemiology, international research and pathogenesis. Public Health Relevance

Protein biomarkers can provide accurate diagnoses, help prevent or monitor therapies in disease. Mass spectrometry provides one of the major analytical methods for proteomics, including biomarker discovery and validation. Because protein expression in CSF spans several orders of magnitude, chromatography and bioinformatics tools are essential parts of this approach, which will be applied to all of the proposed projects.
