The program recruits promising researchers. During their two years of training, fellows spend aboutone-third time in didactic work, and two-thirds in supervised research. All fellows take a Health Psychology Seminar and Research Process Seminar during both years in addition to specialized seminars and a course on Responsible Conduct of Research. The research experience is balanced between participation in research planningand activities of the research group she/he hasjoined and development of an individualproject. In cases of outstanding fellows whose training requires participation in longitudinal research, support for a third year will be considered, Fellows also can gain experience teaching medical students.
